Its a short comment - BUT its from Greens Senator Christine Milne who would obviously have some access to some juicy info.

I have NEVER heard that statement before - usually its "how quick can we close them". Has she let some interesting news slip ?
She is clearly saying brown coal has a serious future - "refurbishing" can only mean upgrading the boilers and upgrading the feedstock (Coldry ?). I doubt she is talking about minor upgrades for shandy burning.
Maybe the ETS passing will allow brown coal generators to invest in "refurbishing" ?
The mooted "education" program may be about to kick off !
