It is not just what is happening in Australia that is exciting. Don’t forget that GRK has the Hungary JV. With the EU aiming to reduce emissions 50% below 1990 levels, the geothermal exploits in Hungary are sure to benefit. Geothermal offers zero emission base load power. The EU has already stated that 20% of European power will be sourced from renewable energy. The first well in Hungary had temps of 146 degrees C but not the required flow rates. Hence the Geofund is footing the bill. GRK started in Hungary with the well that was least likely of success and are moving up from there. They may also go back and try to frac for better flow rates on that first well. Hopefully we will see some more news soon.

There is a world wide Energy revolution happening right now. Even the US and China are talking about emissions reduction, it is about time. GRK is part of the Renewable Energy Business Mission to China.
