Posted by GP1971 earlier, this news just now from Sermitsiaq needs a new thread, since it is potentially a game-changer for ETM.
Note that the EU signatory is EVP Maros Sefcovic who headed the Raw Materials Conference in Brussels two weeks ago, which was attended by the ETM team.
The question now is whether the EU will convince (force) Naaja to abandon her anti-uranium bigotry, and how soon?
    Yes, bigotry.

"EU and Greenland have reached an agreement on a partnership on sustainable raw materials value chains.25 of the 34 critical raw materials identified by the EU Commission as being strategically important for Europe's industry and the green transition can be found in Greenland. This is part of the reason why Naalakkersuisut has entered into a so-called strategic partnership with the EU in the area of raw materials. The partnership will contribute to developing sustainable raw materials projects and establishing the necessary infrastructure. This is stated by Naalakkersuisut and the EU Commission in a joint press release. After signing the agreement, the EU and Greenland will jointly develop a roadmap to put the strategic partnership into practice. Nathanielsen: Comprehensive roadmap Naalakkersuisoq for Mineral Resources, Naaja H. Nathanielsen (IA) says about the partnership: "Greenland has many of the raw materials required in the green energy transition and other areas of strategic importance to the European Union. The MoU underlines our strategic partnership on sustainable raw materials value chains and is underpinned by a comprehensive roadmap that ensures mutually beneficial results. The memorandum of understanding establishes close cooperation between Greenland and the EU in the following five areas, the press release states: Economic and industrial integration of value chains for critical and non-compliant raw materials. This includes, among other things, building networks, developing projects jointly. Cooperation to ensure high international standards for environmental, climate, social and societal responsibility and organisational governance (ESG) to ensure that Greenland's mineral sector is a lever for sustainable and inclusive economic growth with local value creation. Implementation of infrastructure for the development of raw materials projects. This includes taking into account that Greenland's transport and energy infrastructure is subject to special Arctic conditions, as well as supporting the mobilisation of infrastructure financing. Strengthening capacity and competence development in Mineral Resources' value chains. This includes competence development at all levels within the raw materials industry and wider society. Cooperation on research and innovation and knowledge sharing and technologies related to sustainable exploration, exploitation, processing and refining of raw materials. Greenland is eligible to participate in the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation; and Earth observation data and Copernicus show promising opportunities relevant for mineral exploration, such as mapping deposits, monitoring mining activity, including residue management and environmental impact."
