EU reconsiders the end of combustion cars from 2035

EU Commission President Ursula van der Leyen wants to overturn the planned ban on combustion cars.
She wants technological freedom and for drivers to have a choice and not just rely on electromobility.
In addition, it has now been established that the CO2 consumption of an EV (production to use) is higher than for combustion cars.
If this is implemented, then the demand for EVs will continue to collapse.
That would be considerable for the German car manufacturers in particular, billions in investment would be wasted.
I don't even want to speculate about the lithium market, everyone can imagine the effects.
