Pfizer’s clinical data puts the US one step closer to a Covid-19 vaccine for younger kids (msn.com)

Pfizer will get approval early Nov in the US to provide vaccinations for kids 5 to 11 year old.

The recent UK spike in COVID infections is partially due to the fact that the UK was slow to adapt to vaccinations for 12 to 16 year olds. This allowed a strong spike in school kids infections, driving the national COVID positive rate up.
The other issue is that the UK has dropped all caution in slowing infections like masks and social distancing which are exercized in other European countries with significantly less infections and a fraction of fatalities compared the UK, see Germany, Spain, Italy etc.
