Anyone else think there could be a really good future for Eugeni machines long after covid is over? Aside from the combined flu tests which have also been discussed, and assuming they crack the saliva contamination issues.

I've just googled "diseases that can be detected in saliva". There are research papers and other articles going back years, obviously something scientists have been working on for some time, possibly using saliva instead of blood (or for preliminary detection).

It seems that Eugeni could be a useful tool in dental clinics, as various oral diseases can be detected in saliva such as gingivitis, Sjogren's syndrome and oral cancer.

And in GP clinics and hospitals too, as certain markers in saliva are detected in diabetes, hepatitis, dengue fever, breast/lung/prostrate/pancreatic cancers, and other conditions. Much less invasive than blood tests, at the preliminary stage anyway. If high saliva sensitivity is achieved with results 99% positive, a treatment plan could be started at the GP stage right away, instead of waiting for blood test results and consultant appointment.

Maybe also useful at Border Control and in Booze Buses for drug detection?

Ok that's it, holding onto my shares even tighter now! I believe it would be a mistake selling too many too soon, on the basis of covid and flu sales only. Future dividends would be good too. GLTAH
