Sorry but I think you have taken my comments incorrectly. Tony can do deals especially when there is something good to sell. Tanbreez is a very good project and Iron Bear is a once in a lifetime resource that has been handled very well by Paul. Tony has very good contacts and they see past the crap.

My comments were that the local investing houses do not like him, referring to him as colorful Having been around for a long time, the deals that didn't work are remembered for a lot longer than the good deals. The local press wrote an article on him in a bad light, and rightfully so, Tony complained. The article I believe was retracted with apologies. Since then, if any good news is worthy of a news article in the mainstream press, it is done in two sentences followed by a lot of history. He spent at least $35M of his own money supporting Perth Glory after signing on a very bad deal. The deal came without the catering cashcow. He got crucified working through Covid and the time afterwards when there was negligible turnstile money.
When he said enough is enough, everyone wanted their pound of flesh from him. The press had a field day thinking that he is the gift that keeps giving.

Without the local brokers on side, getting the general investors onboard is an uphill battle. Without good media support it is an uphill battle.

If he finalizes this and we get the chocolates, the local press will still only give two sentences. And bring up Glory.
