Since Tanbreez is a rare earth project, it falls directly under critical minerals, one of the key categories targeted by Section 402.

The project may qualify for:
- Faster processing
- More flexible terms
- Priority access to financing
- Higher loan ceilings (we can already see this with the 15 year time frame of the loan) or longer tenors
- It also makes the project more geopolitically aligned with U.S. strategic interests (e.g., reducing reliance on China for rare earths), which can boost its chances of final approval.

If the project is deemed eligible under Section 402:
-Political and strategic support for the loan increases.
-It could signal lower risk of denial (though not a guarantee).
