Please ask that question at the AGM because I havent heard an issue regarding goodwill from any of its worldwide operations, there was no right-down within the annual report and I haven't read a research report quoting this.
Just for the average punter that may be thinking of buying shares prior to this question being asked.
Normal QBE practice for any portfolio transfer revolves around an upfront payment plus strict performance hurdle payments that are normally over a 12 or 24 month period.
This is Frank's way of doing deals with a bit of (goodwill) insurance cover.
