"This company or at least this product, is completely de-risked, so it’s coming to market, it cannot fail in a clinical study from here, whereas a drug can – and we saw Mesoblast go down in a bag of flames last week.
That can’t happen to a med-tech product where we are certainly in our stage of development, so it’s very de-risked and it’s definitely coming. Whether it’s me or whether it gets taken over, one of those two things is actually going to happen. When you’re in a $10 billion space, the market leader has 65 per cent market share, that’s Edwards, and we’re superior by about 30 to 40 per cent than they are in the patients. So you can see getting 10 per cent is not going to be challenging and certainly the doctors we cover have about 25 per cent between them now. So, this is really one of those rare little one-percenters, I know CEOs all think that about their companies, but I’ve been around a lot of years and a lot of drug launches and a lot of clinical data my whole career globally, I haven’t seen anything that has come within a range of where this product has landed.
It’s really the main of a big company, we just – I’m going to say, got lucky, but we pushed it to be where it is and then followed the playbook that I followed in pharma to get the advisors onboard and all those kinds of things. You know, it really is not a fly-by-nighter"
