@coads That's why I wondered if discussions with the bank are moving toward an equity line of credit, like with the abandoned Yorkville facility, or toward an underwriting of an upcoming offering, potentially drawing in new institutional investors.
And as for a buyout, I wouldn't even consider voting for any offer less than $2.5 billion USD, just pointing out that buyout offers are a function of a company's market cap and premiums don't generally exceed 200%, and would generally be expected to be around 100%, so the share price has got work to do to get to a price in excess of $80 factoring in potential upcoming dilution (a $3.8 billion/$165 per share AUD buyout price at a 100% premium with 23 million shares fully diluted would require a share price of $83)
