Absolutely stupid argument about "small number of shares on issue". If it was relevant every company that issues shares would just consolidate them on a regular basis. The important thing is the % of dilution and we all know that will be at the max allowed unless he can bump it up with SH permission. He should be talking about cutting costs while the share price is so low.
And as a side note Wayne has consolidated the SOI down 1000X over his management. The reason given was that institutions like higher SP in dollar terms. Hasn't really helped us in that respect. Personally I don't care about the number of shares on issue, only the percentage of the company I own which has gone down drastically over the last few years
