It was JP Morgan that helped broker the US$16B Abiomed deal with J&J last December.
This comment by WP in isolation could mean anything.
“I’m in discussion with a major bank at the moment, so we just want to lock it down before I come out and make any announcements on that.”
I would suspect those discussions are why we haven’t had a capital raise to date, and the longer we go without one the more promising it looks for some kind of high level corporate activity.
Major dot joining here that could be a fantasy.
1. EGM completion to satisfy BOD - handbrake released.
2. Successful completion of EFS this month.
3. Readout of outstanding primary end points TCT next month.
4. Corporate activity announcement leads to major re-rate.
