With all this focus on the 51% holding, perhaps we should look at the maths . . .
If it was 49% SD held what makes you think 51% to the "other team" is sufficient to make decisions.
If SD had 49% there does not require much of a spill to have resolutions going their way.
How do we know that several Australian/Chinese investors with their family in Shandong Province don't hold an aggregate of 10% already.
We may have a good deal, we may not . . . it is in the lap of the gods (any or all of them, they are peculiar women at times).
Too much concentration on 51%l let's see what unfolds before we talk the company and country down completely.
Just another point, I doubt whether all the posters here in HC on this forum hold more than 200 million shares; we are small fry when you consider 4 billion shares in total.
We have no say; wake up to this fact please. We are gold mining speculators.
