Chuck, as in another context (global warming) I like the idea of judging articles on their merits.
I grant that that takes a little more use of the grey matter but is likely to add more to ones understanding of a wider range of issues, even if it is only in the sharpening of one's critical skills.
(Perhaps you could respond by distinguishing, for example, the neo-con doctrines in the article or any other criticism that takes your fancy).
