As a VUL holder just trying to do some research on this topic.

I've had a very brief read of documents from the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) website regarding France's submission and related industry feedback they have received. Links provided below.

    https://echa.europa.eu/registry-of-clh-intentions-until-outcome/-/dislist/details/0b0236e18270066e

and the document attached under the "Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria" section of this website
    https://echa.europa.eu/guidance-documents/guidance-on-clp

I can see the proposal was first submitted by France on 22-06-2020 and final submissions from industry received in Oct 2020. The ECHA seems to be of the opinion the Lithium Chemicals should be classified under Hazard Statement Code H360FD (May damage fertility or the unborn child), which applies for example to Boric acid.

I am wondering what implications this may have for Vulcan's operations apart from appropriate product Labelling, handling and disposal of waste product. Would it not still allow the extraction and processing of lithium chemicals in Europe.

I have no training in this area at all, just your average retailer investor. Very interested in getting other people's thoughts on this who might have more expertise in the area.
