    In a momentous step forward for lovers of natural sunscreen ingredients, the European Standing Committee on Cosmetic Products has voted to allow Zinc Oxide to be used as an ultraviolet (UV) filter in sunscreens and cosmetics.

    This decision is of tremendous importance to the global cosmetic and sunscreen industry as it formally recognises the UV benefits of Zinc Oxide in skin care, and approves its use in formulations in Europe, in both nano and non-nano forms.
