Mmmmm what a night...

I have been getting mixed signals for the last couple of days, Last night was a classic, where I kept trying to short the FTSE, keeping my trade alive by hedge scalping on the rises, Calculated my drop down to 5570, but ended up giving up, closing the trade, only to see the foretold drop come in now...

Currently I am getting the same bearish signals on gold, but less inclined to short it...(!)

I would like to see the following occur...

Futures down/night down... we had a futures up/night up a while ago, and I want balance to kick in.

Ideally, a mother of a spike on/soon after thursday, though with a half day US trading, I am gobsmacked as to what will happen. This time I would like to see a huge rise in the futures over the US holiday weekend, which would balance out the last time people expected a bounce over a US holiday and got smashed instead.

I would like to see a quick plunge on oil and gold after/during the US market spike.

Then I will trade like a little bandit and walk away for a bit.
