Not sure where the storages are for all of Europe, but energy prices are rising drastically and Europe trying to curb use. lf winter is colder than normal, then we will see how they cope.
There is a place for renewables, but you cannot run a modern industrial society without fossil fuels. That is why China, India, Asia and Africa are building more coal fired power plants. China is laughing all the way to the bank, using our coal to produce wind turbines and solar panels and then sell it back to us at inflated prices. Can't believe their luck, you only get one Alan Bond in your lifetime as Kerry Packer famously said.
Even Europe are firing up their old coal fired plants and extending nuclear as well (paradoxically they have been closing zero emitting industries).
