Yes Japans exports fell 50% in the last few months but is that reflective of the rest of the world? I think not/
Just take one example
You can buy a Honda CRV SUV for $45K ( vehicle made in Thailand not Japan) or you can buy a simlilar vehicle made by Kia a Tucson out of Korea for $30k (50% less)
I Took both for a test drive as replaements for my mothers current vehicle.
Yes the CRv Hodna is better quality but not 50% better.
Which do you think I will buy the one 50% cheaper so I would guess Koreas vehicle sales are rocketing and the sales person confirmed that sales are up 70% in the last 6 months.
the Yen is just to strong at the moment compared with what ever currency they have in Korea resulting in substitution fo Japanese products for products from other countries.
