I have been in Europe since June including Germany for a month where MUE has their portfolio. I think MUE is only going to improve on the result from last year as there are less vacancy/for sale signs than in Australia right now and plenty of people still shopping. I thought the mood may be a bit downbeat but you seriously would not know that there is a recession here.
In spain, everyone seems busy working, spending etc. Not to say it's perfect but from the media in Aus. you would think it's the end of the world.
Definitely not the case!
