The only thing that concerns me (albeit mildly) and frustrates me (immensely) is the pro coal lobby and the greens will be able to use this as an excuse for an anti nuclear pile on. Misinformation about the attack ,the damage, the potential for 'catastrophe', pale into insignificance to the ongoing risk to our world through carbon based emissions.

Australia has experienced too many 'once in a 100 year' events of late to not wake up and take the threat both economic and personal seriously.

As someone who believes in environmental sustainability for my children (and financial security) it kills me to see the opposition to nuclear as a transitional power source where each country can be independent of the vagaries of the fossil fuel economy.
