It’s likely Mali coup leaders would not interfere with the gold industry as that would severely affect the countries reputation and economy. But how quickly something new can happen during this period of transition is something punters need to know, and I hazard a guess embassies in Bamako would have an idea exactly what business and administrative matters can be done, and on what timeframe. Because everything will be under review if the constitution of the country is under review.
So again, a ‘business as usual attitude’, is a bit ignorant of the main fact the country is in transition.
