I found a recent article, that was published today, which states that Volkswagen Group wants to produce 6 million electric vehicles anually by 2030. I assume that in this context pure BEVs are meant. That's still far below Elon Musk's statement that Tesla wants to produce 20 million electric vehicles by 2030. In the end action is what matters. We all know by now about the increasing structural supply deficit that many experts forecast. Those who haven't secured their battery raw materials will miss their targets. Imho the combined OEM EV production targets are already far higher than what can be realistically build over the next years. And we are already seeing what happens to the lithium prices.
