I view this as an addition rather than a replacement technology. It will probably be profitable, yield battery quality product and increase production by a currently unkown amount. This will not replace conventional brine production in the foreseeable future but will make it more competitive vs hard rock. I think it is a good development for Orocobre. Apart from that if you read the earnings report and earnings call transcript, it really looks like they are making progress regarding quality and production costs. This is one of the reasons why I think Orocobre is a very good investment.
