Daimler calculates with selling up to 50,000 units of the EQS in 2022 and onwards (first deliveries this year). That compares to the best seller in the segment in 2020 the Mercedes-Benz S Class with about 60,000 units sold in 2020. The 2020 S Class also has a PHEV version with about 100 km of range. The EQS will receive a high performance AMG and a high end luxury Mercedes-Maybach version, both fully electric. The same goes for the EQS SUV that will arrive in 2022. EQE and EQE SUV will arrive in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
