When it comes to battery cells geographical regions like China, Europe or the United States want to be self sufficient. This plays in our hands. Capacity will not be build to barely meet global demand but to make each individual region self sufficient in the long run. On the other hand the US and Europe want to become less depenndent when it comes to battery quality lithium chemicals. So they might create projects that are barely profitable but provide additional supply. However I think the first outweighs the latter. Thoughts?
