I think the time must be soon arriving when there is no reason to buy a new ICE vehicle. In pretty much every market segment, EV options will be superior. Up-front price will be the only reason to buy ICE, but that dictates buying used. New ICE vehicles will suffer higher depreciation rates as more used EVs become available, so better to get (more) finance to buy more expensive EV, and offset (higher) interest against lower running costs
