What I am looking forward to is one pedal driving. Take your foot off the rheostat (ahem, the accelerator), and brakes are applied to an extent commensurate with the speed you remove your foot.
Indeed, it makes sense to do away with foot pedals altogether, and just have hand controls around a U-shaped, "fighter jet" steering wheel.
By the way, Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway) has a shedload invested in BYD, so they will be kicking goals.
