We should see a lithium demand boost over the next months if we look at what happened last year to the battery demand in November and December. Lithium demand should increase earlier because of the lead times in the supply chain. However, it is likely that the demand curve will be smoother this year, because last year there was a temporary end of the purchase tax excemption for NEVs at the beginning of 2023, a decision which was reversed this year and the purchase tax excemption won't end again at the end of the year and will continue to be applied next year, which should even out more demand for NEVs in China in December vs. January. However, November and December will still be by far the best months in China and globally.
