"GAC AION, the new energy vehicle (NEV) arm of GAC Group, sold 27,021 new vehicles in August 2022, representing a 133% year-on-year surge and also achieving the highest-ever level on a monthly basis, the carmaker announced on Thursday via its WeChat account. For the first eight months of 2022, the company saw its new vehicle sales soar 134% from a year earlier to 152,305 units."
