Yep some petrol approaching $3 a litre in Oz, and circa $4 last time I was in Europe.
It doesn’t seem like that long ago that a full tank was $50, now it’s $150!
My neighbour charges his EV mostly with excess solar (via a handy app) that would otherwise be sold for stuff-all, so his avg cost per 100km is absurdly low; under $2 iirc.
Just walked past a police speed camera van - engine running of course while parked up for 6 or 8 hours…. Bloke’s gotta have the aircon blaring while he has a nap in the back?! Go figure. It’s ridiculous..
