What they thought in 2018:
Note the 2023 total forecast above of about 500 GWh.

ACTUALS 2023:
“In 2023, global power battery shipments reached 865.2GWh”
In 2018, this forecast by BNEF for demand in 2023 was out by about 70%.
Ponder that.
Imo beware when the headlines read “demand lower than expected”.
