Gotion High-tech, a chinese battery maker, launched several new batteries. VW Group is their biggest shareholder and likely user. But they will probably sell them to other carmakers as well.

They will also make and deliver "unified" battery cells for example with LFP chemistry to VW for use in models outside of China. Unified battery cell basically refers to a common form factor for battery cells with various chemistries that VW group wants to use for most of its future models across different brands. This is supposed to realize economies of scale and bring down battery costs.
