People who champion EVs never answer the questions, they never refute the facts, they never have an answer to legitimate concerns
There is no free lunch -- the aim is to pick the best product at the most economical cost
So to say that renewables on any sort are guilt free of any pollution is a simple lie.
In general they are too expensive and do only a portion of the job required
In certain sections of the society an EV when it is sold at about a third of the current price will be suitable for some people but not the majority in Australia, in certain places some in-house commercial EVs have been successfully used for probably 100 years, submarines in ww2 were very efficient and successful
But EVs will never be a third of the price until a new storage system is invented to store the electricity
