    Why would you only charge your car at 110 klms at a time ?

    Most people will charge their car at home so it will be full every morning . For the average commuter their will be half full or better most of the time .
    How often do you drive 300-400 klms and then need to drive another 110 klms ? That would mean that you've driven for four or five hours ( 400ks ) without a break . I reckon you might be looking for a rest after that !
    Travelling interstate ? Do 300 ks in the morning ( 4hrs ) , stop for an hour for lunch . A supercharger will have the car full in an hour . A fast charger will put 220ks in so the car will nearly be full . Charging locations will be an issue but they are already well spread out on the major roads and more are getting installed every week .

    Let's suppose you drive 500ks a week . 70ks commuting each day plus 150ks on the weekend . Probably pretty average for many Australians .
    At that rate you will be filling your car 52 times per year . Maybe 15 minutes at a time . 15 x 52 = 780 minutes or 13 hours .

    If you owned an ev that had a real range of 400ks ( Tesla ) that was charged at home you would never need to visit the servo . Or , it could be charged while you are at work as it is parked for more than 8 hours .
    And , if on Sunday morning you decide to o for a 200k drive , you won't have to stop at the servo first as you would have in your ICE car .

    Yes , ev range would be an issue for someone that lived in the outback that regularly does 500ks in a day . For sure .

    But that is a very , very small percentage of Aussies .
