I an sick of the condescending articles written by non informed popularists that shout you down as being some sort of environmental vandal if you DARE question the word of Elon.
If we (Aust) are serious in electrifying are fleet, then we also need to have the nuclear power stations on the same agenda.
We need to model ourselves on the Chinese (complete electrification is fine - but you need the electric production sorted first).
What about Norway you say?
We will still need oil to grease the wheels & to continue to make our plastic trinklets et al.
Cheap base load power 24/7 than can't be delivered by the renewal brigade.

Need to look from the cradle to grave for electic cars & the infrastructure required to deliver.
Despite the worlds best efforts in going renewable, it is having no net impact on carbon/ pollution issues (differnt story in regards to the bottom line for some companies)
