@Bunn-Wackett thanks for taking up the cudgels on behalf of women, but I wasn't offended, am an old lady now, often was 'the blonde' had one daughter, now deceased, who was an outstanding beauty but she never used that as a ploy, despite some amazing job opportunities on offer 'for trade', if you know what I mean. We are, what we are, often how we are brought up. I grew up with a strong mother and an alcoholic father so realised early that men are not all they seemed to be, or pretended to be. I was lucky - was married to a good bloke, a gentleman - and really have found all humans to be how they are treated in the first place. HotCopper does not offend me. The opposite, I try and alleviate some of the strive, but lately have given up, have some new friends in real life, and that matters a lot more, than some of the 'venting' which is going on here. It is probably healthy for the disaffected, disappointed etc. etc. to have a forum like this?! No??? But Nippy's post did'nt offend - I also realised he has no real idea how 'the mating game' works - as in all nature, in humans it's also the females who pick and choose - I was only disappointed he didn't give me a book reference to my query, but have since found some reading material.
