    ....it may well be that cars become somewhat like TV to the millenials. That is why the Robotaxi concept IMO would appeal to them.

    ....To seniors/boomers/Gen X, a car could be beyond just a utility - its a status symbol, a passion of ownership and a reflection of male ego etc....but the millenials do not care. They may be embarrassed to be showing off.

    ....We tend to assume things based on our own value system, but the future market is no longer us, it is them-the millenials. Don't judge based on what you like or believe - understand the world has changed and will keep changing, whether you like it or not.

    54 percent of Gen Z participants polled for Statista's Consumer Insights survey in the U.S. between July 2023 and June 2024 claim that owning a car is important to them, compared to 69 percent of baby boomers.
    This suggests that the perceived necessity of car ownership is not only influenced by the availability and quality of public transit but also by generation.
