The BOM of BYD's 150 Ah Na-ion blade battery is expected to be comparable to that of LFP batteries by 2024. This is a very ambitious goal, but it is possible given the rapid pace of technological development in China. If supply chains for sodium-ion batteries are well established by the end of this year, costs could potentially be reduced by 100%. Also interesting that they are working on both layered oxides and polyanion cathodes. Would love to see the volumetric energy density and Cell to Chassis efficiency for these cells
