Trump says he won't allow EVs to be sold, which some suggest that he meant he won't allow Chinese EVs made in Mexico to enter the US market. But he would almost surely wind back EV subsidies under the IRA and would be backing the gas sector more earnestly. US EV growth would not stop if he is President but would face a big setback in terms of mainstream progression.

And IMO, EV and lithium stocks would face major headwinds as we progress nearer towards the Nov election dateline with polls continue to favour the ex-President.
