...so far this Goldman Sach's forecast of SC6 lithium price is rather spot on, with 2024 price around US$1100-1200. And it looks like Goldman is factoring in a big decline into 2025 with expectation of a sagging economy, before recovery in 2026 but still well below current pricing.
...now you stack this against the Bell Potter projections for PLS and LTR per the link posts below where US$1400 price was used, and you should have grounds for concern ahead. Spodumene 6%:
2024: US$1,175 per tonne
2025: US$800 per tonne
2026: US$978 per tonne
2027: US$1,155 per tonne
Long-term: US$1,150 per tonne
Based on the above, it is apparent that Goldman Sachs isn't expecting prices to rebound meaningfully from current levels.
