The lithium sector is such an overcrowded sector in ASX, almost every market participant is in it, at least at some point.
While winter has arrived for the sector, many hodlers remain fully invested, some have even doubled down as if it is a gift from the gods.
Hodlers are clinging on because they believe that EVs are not going anywhere and would only cement its place as the future for vehicles. That belief is not wrong, and absolutely right but its the belief that EV growth would necessarily translate into higher future lithium price is IMO misplaced and not taking cognisance of multi-variate factors that have been canvassed and discussed at length on this thread.
You are invited to go through all my posts on EV/Lithium in this thread and make your own judgment. I have had invested a lot of time to bring some clarity to the association, so we can challenge our own notions and that drummed by lithium market participants with vested interests, that would surely not forward a 'devil's advocate' perspective.
