...all the talk about the Gina connection with India could entice India to seek lithium assets in Australia.
...well, the Indians have gone to Argentina, sidestepping Australia despite Albos attempt to woo India.
...I tell you why the Indians are not after our lithium assets- they want it cheap and we're famously noted as one of the least cheap jurisdiction. And tying up with Americans may land them access to the US market which is expected to consume a lot of lithium over the coming decade. We don't have a market here that consumes lithium so what do we have to offer?
....the only parties interested to buy our lithium assets other than the majors (ALB/SQM) (who have already done or gone) if hodlers continue to hope for a TO (takeover offer) are the Chinese but they won't be allowed to buy them...shame, but any TO made at this point by anyone is purely opportunistic, and I wouldn't expect the board to approve it. And any TO at opportunistic pricing would also be disastrous for holders, because they would be forced to part with their holdings at a much lower price. So stop listening to forum spruikers dangling takeover prospects to entice stock buying - its a disgrace (to quote Donald Trump, lol).
