    Who says Lithium is Dead?

Of course it is not, there's going to be more supply coming over the course of the next few years. There would be enough lithium to meet global demand because global demand had been overestimated (for reasons mentioned on this thread) and lithium exploration/ mine development were based on earlier higher demand estimates.
But with EVs facing setbacks in US/EU, lithium processing would be largely performed in China - so most of the SC6 produced in Australia will go to China. That will be the lithium landscape for a number of years yet going forwards.

Benchmark Lithium Infographic – The Evolving Global Landscape

Lithium production will exceed 1 million tonnes LCE for the first time in 2024 and will more than double to 2.7 million by 2030. While the majority of extraction occurs in South America and Australia, it is China that dominates the processing scene.

In our new infographic, The World Of Lithium, Benchmark’s world class lithium industry data is utilised to illustrate how the global #lithium landscape is being transformed by #battery demand.
