Battery manufacturing capacity has more than tripled in the last 3 years
Completing all announced projects would be enough to meet demand to 2030 on our net zero path
But manufacturing is concentrated in only a few countries, creating supply chain risks:

....where batteries are made is where lithium is consumed. So the centre of lithium consumption until 2030 at least will still be in China.
