While #LG prepares for a tech switch towards #LFP, Chinese battery makers prepare to build #sodium batteries' supply chain. Look at the News Flash from the SMM. If I were LG, I would accelerate the arrival of #lithium metal batteries instead.

...there is no price premium for 'ESG' batteries - because EVs are not sold on the basis of how sustainable they are, most EV buyers would have already assumed they're 'green' not caring about being greener- LTR sells its lithium to China - where is that offtake coming out from?

...it is clear LTR has to sell to China simply because US autos have hunkered down on EVs.

...time not to be in denial anymore- the lithium market is in China.
