ALB selling at lower than spot prices in auction sales simply suggest that
a) it is a buyers market
b) there is a lack of demand on the spot market for the volume sold
$ALB's tender results are out.
Comments follow.
1) Surprised at the denomination of quasi-battery-grade #lithium carbonate for the material from #Chile.
2) Spot prices were considerably higher than auction ones.
3) ALB could have done better selling in the spot market instead.
