In his RNC speech, Donald Trump said he would remove the EV mandate on Day 1 calling the green investment 'scam' -all which confirm he will unwind or revoke the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the EV subsidies that came with it, and redeploy unused money to roads and bridges.
He will not allow foreign car makes to take the American market, vowing to impose large tariffs on them to make them unsaleable in America, and if they want a piece of the market, they would need to establish plants in the US.
Which is all saying that the US market will be closed to foreign EV expansion and ICE vehicles would be allowed to flourish as he would bring gasoline price down.
A big warning for EV/Lithium - you better hope that he does not become President.
