* Lithium was top performer for 2021 and 2022, and was the worst performer in 2023. In 2015, it was top performer , then spent 2016 & 2018 being worst performer. See the pattern?
Bottom line: Lithium has to go into Winter Hibernation and won't be top again maybe for a few years.
* Palladium was top in 2017-2019, and like lithium, it attracted a lot of interest then (remember CHN craze?) it then languished at the bottom in 2021 and in the lower half for 2022-23.
That is how it is. No one resource can stay top performer throughout.
* In 2023. top performer was Gold, and I think this is going to be Gold's year and the next.
